We are so confident that graduates of our January Immersive courses will be able to get a job offer within 6 months of graduation that we offer a money-back guarantee in case a job offer is not received.

*Please note that $250 from the initial deposit is non-refundable

In order to be eligible for the guarantee, it is required that the student:

  • Meet the attendance policy:

    • To graduate from the course, the student must not be absent for more than 3 days of the course.
    • An day of absense is counted when a student misses more than 2 hours in one day.
    • On days when a student is absent less than 2 hours, the time absent will be counted towards a full 8-hour day.
  • Have no outstanding debts to the program
  • Fully participate in our job search prep and support
  • Actively seek a job both within our hiring network and outside of the network
  • Communicate regularly with us about the status of your job search and any interviews and offers that you receive
  • Be available for job interviews during and after the course
  • Be willing to work remotely or in person within a reasonable commuting distance
  • Is not seeking to be an entrepreneur or start a business or work with a start up business in lieu of equity instead of pay
  • Have not accepted an offer for any full-time or part-time job or internship or to be an independent contractor, freelancer, start a business or start business activity during the course or within 6 months after the course ends.

If any of the tuition paid to Acodemy comes from a loan, the refunded money will be returned first to the loan provider rather than to the student in order to first satisfy the balance of the loan.

If a student is eligible for any sort of refund, the amount paid back to the student will not be greater than the amount the student him/herself paid directly to Acodemy, i.e. any loans, grants, outside funding that is required to be refunded will be refunded to the original provider, not to the student.

Other scenarios not listed above that do not comply with the intent of this offer would also disqualify the student, such as, but not limited to, waiting for six months to look for a job. The intent of this offer is for an active job-seeking immersive-course graduate to be able to get a job offer within six months of graduation.
